From skeptic to superfan

Our experience turned around with a huge pool dedicated to lap swimming! The heated jets in the hot tub were a delight, making relaxation easy!

Check-in was tedious, leading to frustration, and I encountered a consistent lack of hot water at peak times, which affected comfort.

Just an excellent fit for spending a night in Sheldon with good price-value balance. Check-in took a bit since no one was at the front desk right away, but once checked in, the room was nice and modern. Bring your own snacks since the on-site options are limited.

The room felt spacious and clean, which I truly appreciated after a long day. The big pool looked inviting, even though the kids' pool features weren't working. Breakfast offered a decent variety, but we were disappointed that we couldn’t eat in the pool area. Finding seats during breakfast was a bit tight due to a small seating area. I noticed that some of the high chairs had broken straps, raising concerns about safety. The front desk wasn't often staffed during our visits, which was a little inconvenient. Lastly, the pool closing time at 9 PM felt quite early, limiting some evening fun for the family. Still, I would consider staying again but may look elsewhere for dining options.

During my stay, the clean, well-furnished Standard King Room offered a cozy retreat after exploring nearby attractions. I appreciated the variety in breakfast options, although some items were missing. I felt welcomed and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere despite a few hiccups.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed the Sheldon Aquatic Center in the summer and played 9 holes at the Sheldon Golf and Country Club. The hotel was under renovation, and our room felt brand new. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast options were decent. Perfect spot for exploring while being close to activities and attractions!

However, the morning wake-up call from maids knocking on doors in the hallway was disruptive. It seems like a better approach would be to knock individually.

The Holiday Inn Express offered a remarkable experience with clean, spacious rooms perfect for relaxation and a staff that truly cares. The large pool provided plenty of fun for everyone!

We had a fantastic stay, especially loved the spacious two queen beds room which was perfect for our family. The kids enjoyed the pool area a lot, and we even visited the Sheldon Aquatic Center together, which was terrific summer fun.

My kids wished the breakfast area had more tables for families.
